You’ve been invited to the PalmerSport driving event at Bedford Autodrome. In one
perfect day you’re going to drive every high performance car featured on this website.
You’re going to experience one of the most sensational and memorable days of your life.
And you’re going to love it.
At PalmerSport, we boast an unrivalled pedigree of expertise. Jonathan Palmer, the
man behind the organisation, has spent the last three decades steeped in motor racing
excellence including a six year F1 career. During the last 15 years his focus has been on
establishing the PalmerSport day as the world’s greatest corporate driving event and its
extraordinary success has come from Jonathan’s obsession with quality and continual
improvement.
PalmerSport is part of MotorSport Vision, owners of race tracks that include Brands Hatch,
Oulton Park, Cadwell Park and Snetterton. Bedford Autodrome, however, is the jewel in
the corporate crown. With over 5 miles of purpose built track it is designed to be the best
place on earth for driving fast cars fast and with none of the risks associated with traditional
circuits. It is the perfect environment for both novices and experienced drivers to push cars
to the limit and beyond in unparalleled safety.
Important Information
You should aim to arrive by
08.00 in order to allow time
for registration and breakfast
before the safety briefing.
Even if you have been to a
PalmerSport event before, you
will need to watch the essential
safety briefing video as this
is an insurance requirement.
Therefore, if you have not
registered before the briefing
starts, you will have to watch a
replay of this video.
Please allow plenty of time for
your journey, although we know
that traffic can spoil the best
plans, so don’t worry if you are
delayed as we will get you out
to join your group as soon as
possible. This is likely, however,
to result in the loss of some
driving time. If you expect to
arrive after 08.30, it would be
helpful if you could advise the
circuit on 01234 332400.
You will be required to produce
a current driving licence at
registration. For photo-card
licences this means producing
both the photo-card and paper
counterpart. An overseas driving
licence is acceptable, providing it
is current and valid.
Please advise your host if you
are under 21 years of age, or
have a current motor racing
competition licence as prior
written permission to drive must
be obtained.
If you have any special dietary
requirements, please inform our
registration personnel on arrival.
Do bring your camera if you
would like to.
We recommend that you wear
comfortable clothing, eg jeans
and sweatshirt, windproof jacket
and lightweight shoes suitable for
performance driving. Shorts are
not permitted and heavy boots
or high-heeled shoes are not
recommended.
Waterproof clothing will be
provided if required for use in the
cars with open cockpits. Helmets
are provided for all activities but
we recommend that you bring a
thin pair of gloves.
You are most welcome to bring
any wet weather gear/helmet/
driving overalls of your own,
and if rain is forecast, a change
of clothing may be useful.
Sunglasses may be helpful if it’s
sunny.
Despite the reputation of the
British weather, in reality, very
few days are affected by poor
conditions. In any case, our
event is designed to be totally
weather proof with superb
permanent hospitality buildings
at each activity to keep you warm
and dry.
Please note that PalmerSport
cannot accept any responsibility
for personal belongings or
clothing during the event. |
